Fire at The Lamb
Winton Street

Called to fire at The Lamb Winton Street they were stopped by a messenger saying fire all out.
When they examined the scene they found the 'Taproom' severely scorched and blackened.

No blame is attributed but the cause is given as a bucket of tar being heated on the grate catching on fire and spilling on the floor.
